FOOD ON THE RUN
SWOT Analysis
Strengths
• This program tends to the needs of the students and that is Arkansas Tech’s priority.
• It provides a convenient platform for students to use the meal swipes they pay for without leaving their dorms, catering to students’ lifestyles.
Weaknesses
• Although this isn’t a full weakness since the people delivering the food apply to that position, the workers delivering the food will have to be constantly out and about, even if they are riding on a cart to get to and from the dorm rooms.
Opportunities
• The main opportunity is opening up more jobs that are on campus! Students are benefiting not only from the food delivery service but if they want to apply to work there too they can!
Threats
• The main threat is if nobody applies for the job. Even though that isn’t very probable, there is still a chance that there will be struggles in filling the position.

PESTLE Analysis
Social
• Shifts in the student's preferences, and the student's schedules could affect how often people place orders, but on the other hand, no two students have the same schedule or levels of busyness, so it would never decrease
the number of students who would use the app on a scale big enough to make a difference.
Technological
• Advancements in technology that occur daily could help with the efficiency of the app.
• The OIS on campus already exists and is available to help with any problems on the app.
Legal
• Although bigger companies that have this same idea as Door Dash might run into employment law problems,
like whether their drivers are counted as independent contractors or employees, Tech won't have this problem.
• Arkansas Tech would automatically consider them employees, and there wouldn’t be any trouble as to what to consider them.
Environmental
• Since there are concerns about environmental sustainability, these workers will have the opportunity to walk, skateboard, or bike to the dorms as a form of delivery instead of driving!
• This method of transportation also helps with accessibility around campus, since half of campus is blocked off to vehicles.
